God is not interested in "transformation" without substance. When Jesus changes something, it's new and it's BETTER. Case in point: A leader of an international marriage ministry was speaking at a large conference about the obvious:... "Analytical Geometry" of course. NO! It wasn't Analytical Geometry!! He spoke about MARRIAGE! What else does the leader of an international marriage ministry speak about at a large conference? He told the following true story. A woman was leaving her husband for another man. The husband's last words to his wife were these: "The door will always be open. I will take you back." A long time went bye. He wondered if she would ever return. Then one day... she did. He took her back.

Previously, they had a couple of children. After her return, in time, they had two more.

The speaker, the one telling the story, then said this: "The man in this story is my father, the woman, my mother. I was one of the two children born after my parents got back together. Now my ife and I lead an international marriage ministry that touches thousands of marriages every year, all over the world. Why? Because when God remakes and restores, when Jesus takes two broken pieces and puts them together, He doesn't superglue them. He makes something brand new... and something so much better."

When esus takes water and changes it into wine, it's WINE and it's AMAZING!! That's what He does... because He can.

What needs to change? Let Jesus at it. You're on empty? Maybe a few drops of water left? Give Him the "water" and experience the "wine." It's good wine. Actually, it's better than anything you and I have experienced previously. It's the best wine... He's the One Who can make it.

Water to Wine (Part 1)

Really? Water changed into wine? How difficult could that be? 3 drops of phenolphthalein in an empty glass, 2 drops of sodium hydroxide solution in a glass of water, mix the two and... "wine!" Oh, then pour the "wine" into a glass with 3 drops of hy…

Really? Water changed into wine? How difficult could that be? 3 drops of phenolphthalein in an empty glass, 2 drops of sodium hydroxide solution in a glass of water, mix the two and... "wine!" Oh, then pour the "wine" into a glass with 3 drops of hydrochloric acid, and poof, back to "water." EPICAL! One problem: drink it and die!

Jesus took water, straight up, and turned it into the real deal; wine so good that everyone was talking about one topic: the wine. "Have you tried the wine?" "What's up with the wine? It's amazing!" "This is the best wine I've ever tasted!"

God is not interested in "transformation" without substance. When Jesus changes something, it's new and it's BETTER. Next blog post will tell a true life story to illustrate the point. It will rock your world! Come back for some "good wine."

Build a fence or take it down?

The most beautiful words from our next door neighbour, "Do you mind if we take the fence down between us and then just have one continuous lawn?"Is this not how it should be? True community has given birth. Yes God!!!
